At SickKids, the department of Pharmacy is committed to contributing to the professional development of Pharmacy staff locally, nationally and internationally. Within the following programs you will be able to explore a variety of educational experiences designed for pharmacists with a drive to learn more in the specialty of paediatrics. These programs provide learners with opportunities for customized learning experiences that provide extensive practical training, dedicated mentorship and paediatric specialty certification from SickKids. All programs are adaptable and may be customized to fit your unique organizational context.
Additional opportunities also exist for subject matter experts at SickKids to provide your organization with advisory services regarding its paediatric pharmacy program and facilities. Subject matter experts are available to facilitate your pharmacy education programs in addition to developing staff within the Pharmacy Educator role. Advisory services may also be focused on paediatric pharmacy infrastructure, efficiencies in clinical pharmacy services and the evaluation of pharmacy-related quality and risk management processes within your organization.
