At SickKids, we believe that ongoing education is fundamental in ensuring healthcare professionals maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in paediatric patient care delivery. As such, SickKids has created the following comprehensive programs to support a range of organizations, and their clinical and non-clinical professionals, to enhance the delivery of paediatric care across a variety of settings and practice areas. These educational programs are based on national and international standards and best practices and can be customized to meet the needs for specialty certification and accreditation within our partners’ organizational and regional context.
Educational content can be delivered locally, nationally, in our partners’ home countries, or on-site at SickKids in Toronto. For any clients with travel limitations, continuing education courses can be modified and offered via videoconferencing, online learning modules and other methods.
