Course Aim
The aim of this program is to develop pharmacy professionals with advanced paediatric knowledge and expertise in clinical pharmacy practice within the subspecialty of their choice.
Program Overview
The delivery of pharmacotherapeutic services to children as a patient population requires high-calibre educational programs in order to improve outcomes in child health around the world. At SickKids, our specialty training programs revolve around the care of children and the outcomes of that care.
The Paediatric Clinical Pharmacy Practice Experience offers a wide variety of clinical learning opportunities for pharmacists, designed to develop knowledge and expertise in clinical pharmacy practice. Learners will be provided with skill development support and a strong focus on leadership skills with customized learning plans and dedicated mentorship. This program is highly adaptable and may be customized to fit your unique organizational context.

Clinical Service Rotations in Toronto
Engaging hospital-based experiences in a diverse array of clinical activities and paediatric patient care areas including (but not limited to): general paediatrics, surgical services, neurology, nephrology, multi-organ, blood and marrow transplant, cystic fibrosis, haematology & oncology, cardiology, paediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care.
Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Training
Ensure drug treatment optimization for future patients through the maintenance of serum drug concentrations, thus impacting care delivery and resulting in positive paediatric patient outcomes.
Leadership Development
